MOONRISE: MAKING MOON MAN is the exciting prequel to I AM MOON MAN, taking students to the moment MOON MAN was about to change from an idea to an opportunity. Students are there as Kathy Fraser transforms an idea into a fully developed multi-million dollar entertainment empire. But students do not merely study the law, they practice it. Students build an appropriate entity structure for the business and its various revenue streams, form LLCs and or corporations, obtain EIN(s), prepare corporate formalities, draft business and appearance contracts, and pursue copyright and trademark registrations. They may even respond to trademark office actions. Every component is controlled by the professor, allowing MOONRISE: MAKING MOON MAN to be customized for numerous law school and business classes including Intellectual Property, Business Entities, Contracts, Start-Up Law, Entrepreneurship, Business & Business Law Labs, Entrepreneurial Law, or Entertainment Law. Used as a focused classroom exercise or a comprehensive semester project, MOONRISE: MAKING MOON MAN turns legal doctrine into an immersive, practical, and unforgettable professional experience.
